I love making Fall food!

I made a pumpkin pie and pumpkin chocolate squares this weekend, and they made the house smell fabulous!

Re: I love making Fall food!

  • Wow, you're starting early!
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

I pulled out my fall decorations too!

  • Mine are going out this weekend. I figured I'd wait until after labor day ;-). Plus this weekend is my town's annual apple festival which means fall to me!
Whether or not you find your own way, you're bound to find some way. If you happen to find my way, please return it, as it was lost years ago. I imagine by now it's quite rusty.”

  • I want some pumpkin chocolate squares.

The weather this morning rocked my socks off.

  • I had my first ever pumpkin donut (from DDs so I am not mis-spelling it!) this weekend.  It was good.

I am not ready for fall baking yet, but I do love the smell of those spices.  Yum.

  • In my world... once school starts back it's fall. (I'm a teacher.)

I love fall cooking. I was craving winter squash so I just got back from the Copley Square farmers market where I bought beats, the most adorable new potatoes, pears, apples, apple cider, and butternut squash. On my walk home, I stopped by the Butcher Shop and bought some of their sweet Italian sausage. So dinner tonight will be roasted butternut squash and sausage over pasta. YUM!!!

Tomorrow will be the roasted beets and potatoes with goats cheese and chives, and a pork tenderloin with an apple cider/bourbon reduction.

    I love fall cooking!

BTW: I'd love some of those chocolate pumpkin squares! Wink
