  I teach at a community college, I teach various introductory computer classes, keyboarding, microsoft apps, windows, etc.

  Whenever I lecture (which has only been a handful of times) I use the

  "If you can't say it to your grandmother's face, you shouldn't post it on Facebook/myspace/youtube"

  hehe I get looks and then I tell them about some reporters and people who have lost their job because of things they post on the internet.

  or you can get a stalker...and they can call your boss and

  a) tell him what a horrible person you are for calling them a strawberry douche on the internet...to which your boss says..."what's a strawberry douche?" and then you get to tell him about an internet message board called the knot/nest.

  or

  b) tell him you are going to pull a prank on him spoiling the fun of an April fools joke.

  The internet is a scary place.
