It is majorly flooding here due to TS Hermine. I am seriously concerned about being able to make it home or to daycare. This blows. In other news, I have nothing to do at the office and planned to spend all day at schools, so I am cheating on this board with other boards because it sucks.

really lala? tornados freak me the eff out. and now I realized I need to ask our daycare what their tornado plan is.
I leave early (3:30) anyway, so I would be avoiding major traffic. It still makes me itchy. And I could leave earlier if needed.
yeah, apparently there was a tornado spotted in south College Station heading for campus (where I work). everyone was pretty panicked for awhile. I felt like I was in a disaster movie, which isn't good because I always figured if I was in one, I'd die.
today is a good day to leave early, I would think

Don't float away! I thought I heard rain on a conference call earlier, but I figured I must have been imagining it.

it rained a little bit yesterday, but today it was like a monsoon or something. it's stopped for the moment, but it's supposed to be off and on the rest of the day. and I agree with your dad, our lawn wasn't looking so great.

yeah, we left CS yesterday and got rained on a bit, but my dad was hoping for something more akin to monsoon. So I'm glad he got his wish
it rained off and on up here in Dallas today, but nothing major. Just enough to make it unbearably humid, and cause some idiot to get in a wreck and make my 20 minute commute magically turn into 1 hour. So that was pretty awesome
