"family" photos for holiday cards
we had our 1st Groupon session with Noah Wolf this weekend... We did family photos to use on our New Years card. we shot them saturday and i'm already feeling impatient to see the proofs. i hate waiting!
anyone else planning to do family photos for your holiday cards? who are you using?

We're using the same person who did baby I's 12 mo pictures. She was awesome...she's related to someone on the Nest
We just scheduled ours for November 13th with Leah Maria Photography. I can't wait. I LOVE her style and her pictures, it will be so fun to meet her as well!
I hope the fall colors are still vibrant then...if not, oh well. I'm just excited regardless!

Funny you should mention holiday card photos ...
My SIL's wedding is coming up in 12 days and she mentioned yesterday that her wedding photographer would take a portrait of Andy & I that we could use for our holiday cards. I don't usually use a photo on our holiday cards so I hadn't even considered it. I've always thought that family photos are way more fun when there are kids involved, and since we're kidless, I haven't included photos. No one probably wants to look at a photo of just Andy and I.
Then, the more I thought about it, the more I thought, well, maybe it wouldn't be that bad to include a photo this year. But I want our dog in the photo and he's not coming to L.A. with us for SIL's wedding, so we'll have to get a photo taken at another time. If we can't show off cute kids, at least we can show off a cute pet, right? :-)
Then again, maybe I'll just skip the photo this year, like I always do.

Jenny did our wedding photos last year and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend her!
We plan on doing a photo card this year since LO will be arriving shortly. We are using a photographer here in Hastings that is a customer of DH's.
I'm hoping we can find a nicer day where we can take some outside along the river. (fingers crossed) We already talked about getting the shot all set up and do lighting etc with Greg & I and then take LO out of toasty car seat for a quick picture.
Hopefully the colors will hold off! I've noticed a lot of leaves are changing and falling already the past few days.
