I haven't been on here much at all lately. Things have been busy and crazy and drama-ey. Some of you may have seen my FB status, but for those that didn't, I got fired yesterday. I really don't understand why and honestly feel like there were some personal issues involved and no matter what I did, they wanted to get rid of me for some reason. I'm in such a daze. I can't eat, couldn't sleep. DH stayed home w/ me yesterday which was super sweet. I'm just worried about getting a job in my field w/ all the limitations of this city. I don't know how we're gonna survive on his salery. We barely made it anyway. DH's mom said they would help if we need it. I just don't want to rely on them. My resume is 6 years old, so I worked on it all day yesterday. There are a few Keeper positions at the Zoo one full and 2 part time. I'm gonna try for the all, just to get my foot in the door. A few coworkers are going to be my references and the Edu Director said she would be glad to keep me on the education bird team. Its been so long since I had to do all this. I don't know where to go or what to do anymore.

Have you still been helping out with the gulf? Could you contact any of the people you worked with on the oil spill for possible jobs in your area etc?
