Google's free 411

Just found out about this - call 1-800-466-4411 instead of 411.

You can call from a house phone or cell phone.  You can do the normal 411 stuff where you say the city, state and name and they will connect you.  You can also say your location and search for things (like pizza shops).  If you have text, they can text you company infomation and if you have the web on your phone it can send you a map.  All free. Pretty cool Google.

Re: Google's free 411

  • Yah, I love Google 411.  You can also text your city, state, and business listing to 46645 ("googl"), and they will text you back with the top 6 (I think) results.  This comes in handy when you're in a loud place and the voice recognition doesn't work.  Google is rad.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I love this - we use it on the road all the time.
