cleaning hardwood floors and wood furniture
Can you use a vinegar and water solution to clean hardwood floors and wood furniture? If not, what does everyone recommend?

I use 1 part vinegar to three parts water on my hardwood floors and they're beautiful. It cleans the floors better than anything else I've tried.
Some people will tell you not to, some will say it's fine. It usually all depends on the wood.
It works for me because the acidity of the vinegar is balanced out by the pH levels of the ridiculously hard water in my area.
