Looking forward...
Today is a kinda gray/boring morning, so I thought I'd liven things up (both for myself and the board) and ask a simple question:
In the next two weeks (from today through September 22) what are some things you're looking forward to?
Tomorrow my friend is coming over for dinner/wine/girls' night.
Friday and Sunday I'm doing some cool fundraising things for Susan G. Komen (I'm most excited about Sunday -- I'm teaching a card making class with my teammate for the 3-Day).
The 17th I'm going to see Brad Paisley who is touring with Darius Rucker, Justin Moore, Easton Corbin, Steel Magnolia, and Josh Thompson.

Re: Looking forward...
DH has this weekend off of work so I am pretty excited to spend time with him. Not excited that we will be spending yet another one of his weekends off with his family but his uncle is coming from WA and we need to meet with the pastor so he will baptize Amelia in 2 weeks.
A little further out is that I get to see my family at the baptism. I have not seen them in a long time and am really missing them. The IL's have been a little overbearing the last few months and not being able to visit my family because we spend all of DH's off time with his is really getting to me.

Friday we are seeing Vampire Weekend
Saturday we are having my parente over to my house for dinner. It'll be my dads first time stepping inside our house since we moved in back in February. He has finally gained enough mobility that we can help him stand and step up into the house w/o needing a wheelchair ramp.
And my birthday is next Monday.
how exciting hawki! I just had lunch w/a friend who is due in Oct and chose not to find out the gender of her baby... I think the suspense would kill me!
Friday I am going to a moms group that meets once a month. I am excited and nervous for that. It is the first session of the year and I am more of an introvert. My friend that goes and told me about it won't be there because she's on vacation.
Friday the 17th, I am going to learn how to make jewelry! A friend who works from home needs help growing her business and asked me if I wanted to help. So I'll be making some money and doing something I always wanted to learn.
Saturday the 18th, a women's group I belong to is having their annual social. It is at this culinary school where the students make a 5 course lunch and we rate them on everything we eat. We did it last year and it is a lot of fun.
Awesome Hawki!!! We didn't find out with Ayden, but I think for baby #2 we might.
Megs- that's great news about your dad!
Saturday DH and I are having a date night. We haven't had one in a while because money got tight towards the end of maternity leave, so now that I'm bringing in $ again, we can go to dinner and a movie! (Recommendations welcome.)
Next weekend we're considering taking a trip to Detroit to see the in-laws. I'm a bit hesitant about driving 6 1/2 hours with Alex, but my SIL will be flying in from DC and it'd be nice to see her again (her IVF cycle didn't work, so it'd be nice to be there as additional support).
I'm hoping to be done with my grant by the 20th too. Fingers crossed.
I am looking foward to 5:00. I get to leave work.
I am looking foward to my 4 day weekend...outlets on Friday, dinner w/ my girls on Friday Night, Saturday Breakfast/Brunch w/ my dad, husband comes home from Portland on Saturday Night, Football on Sunday, beach day w/ the husband on Monday to celebrate my birthday!

Megs - looks like were birthday twins! 9/13/83!!
I'm excited to have this baby! Bedrest is getting really boring and I am so sore. Kind of to that "over being pregnant" feeling. So far, the bedrest is keeping the pre-eclampsia to a mild level, which is a good thing, I am just getting anxious to meet my little guy!!!
Other than that, not too much. Can't really go anywhere or do anything.
Yeah! That is wonderful news!
BFF's shower is 9/18.
Also looking forward to True Blood season finale this Sunday.
