Not sure how to end my cover letter?

A position I am applying for asks for child abuse clearances (which I've ordered but was told by the secretary that I could apply without them) and two letters of reference.  The letters of reference are coming directly from the writers.  How should I write this in my cover letter to reflect this?  Here is what I have but I know it sounds bad...

Total commitment to the children in my care and to the achievement of the objectives of the school district is my primary focus. You will find me to be quick to learn and eager to initiate self-directed work when appropriate. I have requested my child abuse clearance and will forward them when they are received.  Also, my letters of reference will be forwarded to you from the writers.  The enclosed resume highlights the skills that you may find useful to your staff. I hold a deep commitment to excellence, and will make every effort to fulfill your requirements.

TIA!

Re: Not sure how to end my cover letter?

  • I have already requested both my child abuse clearance and letters of reccomendation from my references.  I will make sure you receive these as soon as they are available.

To end I always just say "I look forward to hearing from you with any questions you have from me. Please feel free to call me at 999-999-9999 or email me at jjj@aaa.com"

  • Thanks, I had a brain freeze and couldn't figure out how to write something better.
