King Tut Exhibit

Has anyone been to the King Tut Exhibit?  I have a coupon code for tickets for only $20 (normally $30) and was wondering if anyone has been and thinks it is worth it.  Thanks!

Re: King Tut Exhibit

  • I got tickets for $20 as well and thought it was worth that price.  There's a good amount to see. But I like Ancient Egypt a lot, so maybe my opinion is skewed :)

If you by any chance saw the King Tut exhibit at the Franklin Institute a few years ago, I wouldn't recommend going to this one -- it is substantially the same.

Also, the death mask and such no longer leave Cairo, so the end when you would in theory see Tut himself can be kind of a let down if you expected the real thing.

  • When I was in 6th grade we went to the first Tut exhibit for a class field trip (yes, I am old) and we all loved it. I'm gonna guess that it's at least as good as that one, and if a bunch of 12 year olds enjoyed it then I think anyone would.
