I am so ready for fall...
last night i painted my nails a dark maroon color. I am tired of all the bright summery colors and I am trying to chanel fall to coming early here!
Who let the dawgs out?

Re: I am so ready for fall...
I'm sure you guys are sick of hearing me complain about the weather...but I'm not ready for fall. I feel like we never got a summer! I was going through my closet yesterday, and I realized that I have some really cute tops that I never got to wear this year, just because it wasn't warm enough, long enough! I think there were two days when I turned on a fan in the house.
But I will say...I do love a crisp fall day, when the sun is out, but it's a perfect temperature to wear jeans and a sweater.

Im so ready too! I love fall, its my favorite season
I noticed while watching the emmy's a lot of celebs had dark nail polish on.
that is crazy to me that you only had to turn on a fan in your house for 2 days!!
the heat here has been horribly unbearable. It has been hot for so long!
ditto this.
also...a crisp day where you wear a sweater and jeans here = winter.
ready for fall here too! i will say though..summer hasn't been so bad here. i mean, i know it has been outside, but I work indoors and very rarely leave for lunch, so it hasn't bothered me that much
now when i went to a high school that had window units and no AC in the hallways/auditorium/gym...and when I walked to all my classes at UA in 100 degree heat...then yes, i was allllways ready for summer to get the frick outta town!
i do loove some cooler weather though. i'm crossing my fingers for a cool fall and colder winter this year. there's been too many years where i've worn shorts sleeves and even shorts on thanksgiving and christmas.
So carrie..just like you haven't worn many tops b/c it wasn't hot enough..a lot of us southern girls don't get to wear too many winter clothes b/c it doesn't get cold enough
I think we can all agree that we'd like 4 defined seasons please. Does such a place exist?
Most of the time it happens here Lauren. We might get a short spring or fall but there is definitely different seasons.
Carrie - I will trade with you. It has been way too hot here and I can't wait for fall to get here. Plus I am ready to hide in some sweaters and corduroys!
Baby #2 - D&E - 10/1/10 @ 19w2d - thanatophoric dysplasia confirmed.

Baby #3 - Little Bean - natural miscarriage - 1/17/11 @ 5w5d
I agree!! Ohio usually has 4 defined seasons, although spring and fall tend to be shorter than the other two.
