Yesterday afternoon I went to take my BCP.. and I pop it out of the plastic thingy and it goes flying.  Mind you I'm sitting at my desk.  I can't really go searching around all over the floor for it.  So i just decide I will skip it... and take the next day's yesterday. 

Whoops?!?!  I don't even know if that's okay to do or not, but oh well.

See... i've got stupid BOTBP (P=Planning) and now I'm getting clumsy.

    Well the next day's pill is most likely the same depending on what pill your on but you'll be missing a pill at the end of the cycle. Obviously, this will decrease the effectiveness of the pill so I would use a backup method. I don't know how much less effective it will be.

    That's funny because the same thing happened to me the other day. I searched for it & took it though. Like Jenni said it will probably reduce the effectiveness of the pill, but I have no idea by how much. I honestly wouldn't think by much... but who the heck knows.

    See, I'm the crazy one who crawls all over the place looking for that tiny little no-baby pill, covered in dust and who knows what else  :)  And I'm clumsy so I've done this many times!

    Your period will likely show up one day earlier than normal, and the rest of your cycles will just be adjusted my one day but you will still have the same effectiveness.
