Third Person Thursday
It is Thursday, right?!
Stacey is very nervous about her appointment today. She's not sure if she'll get a diagnosis or any answers today since it's just a consult but she hopes to. She dropped off L's sample this morning and was mortified because the lab was FULL of people and when she went up to the desk and told the lady she needed to drop off a sample, the lady took it out of the paper bag, looked at it and loudly said: "At what time this morning did he release this sample?". Stacey = 
like a middle-schooler.
Stacey is also nervous because there wasn't a whole lot of the sample which was weird because under "normal" circumstances, L releases a ton more so she hopes they can get an accurate count with what he produced.

Shelley just realized she forgot to do a WTF Wednesday yesterday. 4 day weeks really throw her off.
Shelley hopes Stacey's consult goes well today. Shelley would've been embarassed too dropping off a sample in a crowded room.
Summer agrees, she likely would have been embarassed in a crowded room too.
Summer is in meetings from 11:30-4:00 today. She is not excited about that. She is excited that today is her Friday. Yay for 3 day work weeks!
Summer hopes the doc gives Stacey some answers today or at least something!
Brie hopes things for well for Stacey. Her fingers are crossed that there's good news coming!
Brie would also like to go home early today. And by early she means pretty much right now. She's stuffy and tired and is pretty sure that it's more than just allergies.

Shaina is mad b/c she made really yummy cupcakes and frosting from scratch, but it appears that not only did other make dessert, but they're also having the birthday celebration today. Shaina is mad that no one bothered to mention anything before today and could have sent DH with the cupcakes or not bothered at all.

Mar is finishing up packing all their crap. Mar is annoyed with her Dh because he's being grumpy... still... and she's over it. Shes on vacation! She doesn't want to deal with a b!tchy Dh. She hopes his bad mood is gone tomorrow, or she'll drown herself in pumpkin spice lattes and go into a happy pumpkin coma.
Mar also has found a home for one puppy! So now there's only 7 puppies and 1 dog for her to find homes for still. But at least she knows one is going to a great home!
Mar is super excited about all the girls TTC on the board, and that we have this great support system through eachother. Mar hearts this board.

Tania didn't crush Stacey's hopes
She figured she wouldn't know anything today and wants Tania to know she is 100% accurate that it was a gab fest and discussions about blood work.
Stacey will now update on how the appointment went in first person because it's a lot easier to do that way and she doesn't want to create a separate post about it:
The appointment went somewhat well. On the first day of my next cycle, I have to call to make an appointment for blood work for the 3rd day. She wants to have a lot checked including my cholesterol, thyroids, blood sugar, testosterone levels, etc...Then, on day 14, I have to go in for an ultrasound to see if I am producing any follies. I got back again on day 28 for more blood work to see if I released any eggs.
We also got the results back from L's semen analysis. His levels were great in volume, count, and motility but were significantly low in morphology (shape) which is devastating because if they aren't formed correctly, they can't fertilize the egg. She ordered another SA for him because she said sometimes, there is just a bad sample. I hope she's correct. That doesn't mean I can't get pregnant, but if the morphology is indeed low, it would be harder because there are fewer good sperm.
Now, if we could just get my effed up body figured out.....

Alicia is super duper tired. Alicia feels like her entire life is devoted to potty training her puppy. Alicia does not have a lot of patience and Daisy is really started to test it!
Alicia is annoyed that she can't stay mad at Daisy because then Daisy gives Alicia the puppy dog face and her heart just melts.
Alicia thinks that potty training a puppy is about a thousand times harder than she ever thought.
Alicia is really glad her boss lets her do school work at home so that she can also take care of the pup.
Alicia hasn't been able to do much posting because there are new people at Alicia's work and she no longer is in the lab by herself. Alicia is super pissed and caught said other person on her computer.
Alicia really needs her own office now. It has been 4 years and her boss needs to fulfill his promise!

LOL Alicia still thinks it is worth it and can't wait for Daisy to be fully potty trained. Alicia thinks she will enjoy Daisy a lot more when she doesn't pee all over Alicia's rugs and floors.
