I'll make a new post because I don't feel like talking in 3rd person
Your appointment sounds like it went really well! Are you seeing your ob/gyn or an RE? Not to scare you, but I just did the CD2 bloodwork, and I had a small heart attack when I saw the amount of vials she had to fill. Just be prepared for that! I was expecting one because that's all I've ever done. Yeah..... she took like a dozen!! Thankfully, she was good at her job and she did it quick.
When does L give his next sample? Did you ask if there is anything he can do to help fix the morphology?

Re: *Mouth*
The appointment did go as well as it could have as far as me needing affirmation from her that we/she would move forward. She wanted me to do the blood work and ultrasounds in February when I went in for my annual and I told her I wanted to wait because at that point we had JUST started trying and I wanted to give it some time.
I am seeing an ob/gyn now but in their practice, they have a RE who they consult and refer patients too. I'm really hoping I don't need to see him. She did tell me there would be a lot of blood work so I'm as ready for that as you can be with a fear of needles and a strong gag reflex at the sight of blood. She mentioned putting me on Clomid the cycle after the one coming up but made sure to make sure I knew there was a risk of multiples, which I did.
L just has to give the second sample before I go in for my blood work so that they can analyze all of that together. She said that sometimes there is a blood vessel in guys that contracts and makes the temperature in the ball sack hot which effects the shape of the sperm when they are formed. There is really nothing L can do. She said if the second sample comes back as low, she will refer him to a urologist because sometimes it can be fixed.
I'm nervous and scared.
ETA: Thanks for asking
I'm still nervous and scared, it's perfectly normal. I've heard lots of success stories from Clomid. I actually have a friend who is using Clomid right now. She said that she lucked out as far as side effects go. She didn't have the hot flashes or anything that I warned her about, but she did say that she had headaches. I also have another friend whose doctor, which is the same as mine, recommended Follistim instead of Clomid. Apparently it's supposed to be a lot better in the long run. Maybe you can ask your doc about that one.

Stacey I am glad to hear the appointment went well. (It actually sounds a lot like my appointment yesterday). Do you feel better? Optimistic at least?
With my experience of Clomid I just had the headaches with it. I will probably have to do it with an increased dosage so maybe the side effects get worse with the dosage.
