AW: Guess what I'm getting!
DH told me lst night he had an idea for an anniversary present but wasn't sure if I'd use it so he wanted to ask. When he asked if I'd use this I had to laugh b/c I've wanted one since the first one came out! It doesn't have the 3G, but I really don't think I'll need it since we have wireless at home and I don't plan on downloading stuff while we're out and about anyways.
I can't wait 'til Nov.!!

I have the Barnes & Noble nook and I loooove it. The nook & kindle are pretty similar. My nook has 3G and honestly... never use it. The only purpose it serves for me is that if I have my nook away from home (where we have wireless internet) then I can buy a book on the go. I can't even think of ONE TIME I've done that. When I got my nook that was the only option though, now they have one with just wifi, and it's a lot cheaper then mine was.
A friend of mine who is an avid reader has the kindle and she loves it.

i just started using my iPad for books and love it. not only do i get iBook, i got to download the kindle app and now have access to all of his books!

Be careful because you?re Amazon bill may sky rocket! Mines did at first. I'm an avid reader and I think I bought like $70 worth of books in the first 3 weeks. J I got the 2nd generation Kindle right before we left for our Weddingmoon. This new version came out almost 1 month exactly after I purchased mines. I was kind of mad about that?.actually, I'm still a little upset! LOL, I always want the newest and greatest. J

That's great!! My sister has a kindle and loves it, I'd look into getting one, but I don't read enough. Great present!
