When People with Cold/Flu Still Want to Come Over to Your House
Quick question:
If you know that soomeone stayed home from work on Tuesday, sick with a cold, would you ask to reschedule having them in your home tonight? They say that their symptoms subsided but I feel weird about it.
Re: When People with Cold/Flu Still Want to Come Over to Your House
Was it just a cold? or the flu?
If it was just a cold, I personally wouldn't cancel unless you've got young kids/infants at home. I would stock up on some vitamin C tablets or OJ though and take the normal steps like not sharing food/drinks, wash hands.... You can always run some Clorox wipes along your doorknobs, countertops, etc. to be safe.
Plus- did you see how sick they were? Or you just know they stayed home on Tuesday? Tuesday was the first day back to work after the Labor Day weekend so maybe they really just played hookie or exagerated on the symptoms.
It was just a cold I guess.
I just get extra cautious because my step-mom has a suppressed immune system. She's in the hosipital right now because of it. I cannot see my dad or her when I am sick.
Because of this, I would ask them to come over another time. I would make sure to explain the situation though.
I would reschedule because of this too
