I'm so glad it's finally Friday! It's amazing to me how long "short" weeks seem. In honor of Friday, what do you have planned for the weekend?
Today: first day of our yard sale. I took today off work so I can work the yard sale. Tonight I'll be home by myself while MH works.
Saturday: last day of our yard sale. Hopefully the rain holds off until after 3pm. I'm also hoping that we manage to sell everything (or most everything) we have sitting out. That night, depending on how well we do with our sale, hubby and I might go to Bdub's and watch the 'Bama/Penn State game.
Sunday: home alone again since hubby will be out working a car show (yay for income). I'll be glued to the TV watching the football games and hoping my fantasy team performs well.
All-in-all it should be a good weekend. What are your plans?
Re: Friday...woohoo!
Tonight: we are just relaxing.
Sat: I work till 1, then cleaning house.
Sunday: We are going to the Florida Sportman Fishing Show.
Tonight - DH has counseling and I am running errands.
Tomorrow - charity walk in honor of my cousin's one year old son who passed away this summer from mitochondrial disease.
Sunday - work work work. Blech.
Next weekend will be much more fun I hope. Camping! The leaves should be starting to turn and the campground is next to a gorgeous stream and waterfall.
Tonight- Getting my hair did, then editing.
Saturday- Shopping, packing....more packing....then more editing...
Sunday- Air Show (love), dinner with my mom, say goodbye to my little pookie wookie (going to Grandma's for 2 weeks) then packing....
Monday- Leave for Europe! Woot! Woot!
Friday: working, tons of homework, laundry.
Saturday: working, more homework, sleep, maybe see a movie w/ H.
Sunday: hopefully sleeping in, dinner w/ H's friends at their house.
Every time I write out what I'm doing, I feel super lame! hehe Being consumed w/ work and homework stinks sometimes.
Kristina- so excited for you! Have so much fun in Europe and we want all the details when you get back!
Tonight: Husband is planting some flowers in the front planter and then painting the stucco in the front of the house. I will probably do laundry and vacuum the house.
Tomorrow: Grocery shopping and cleaning. We are having a birthday party at our house for my husband's son and the whole family is coming over.
Sunday: Husband has softball so I will probably go watch them play and then do my grocery shopping for the week since I have been meal planning now.
Tonight - probably nothing. DH woke up feeling sick today and he stayed home from work.
Saturday - we're supposed to have a picnic with my sister, her fiance, my mom and my stepdad, but it's supposed to rain... so, I doubt we'll do that. Notre Dame plays at 2:30, so we'll be glued to the TV for a few hours at that point.
Sunday - first weekend of NFL and we're actually scheduled to get the Bears game on TV! We can usually only get the freakin Rams games and DH is a Bears fan, so we typically go to a bar somewhere to watch. I think we'll get to watch at home this weekend!
Wow, super fun weekend of watching TV. Oh, and I'll still be working on place cards and programs for that girls wedding. Hopefully I'll be done with everything in just a couple of weeks!
Today: finish cleaning for company
Saturday: Greek festival (probably with pre-festival drinking @ 11am), then we're going to see Girl in a Coma that night (with a band I'm getting to know, Hacienda) at Radio Radio
Sunday: grocery shopping, homework, hobby work, and Colts game! Plus, I want to find time on Sunday to go to Edinburgh since LB Outlet is having a sale on pants.
This is going to be a busy weekend.
I haven't made my BIG ANNOUNCEMENT here yet, so here goes- After 115 days, we're in ESCROW on the SS house! As long as the iffy roof passes inspection, we're golden!
I'm off today, so I have some copies to make and drop off at potential lenders, then some light packing. Tonight we have the first TGIF of the school year, so I'll drink with a bunch of middle school teachers.
Tomorrow it's meeting with a couple banks in the AM, then DH has a dentist apt. - he needs a bite plate b/c he grinds his teeth at night when he stresses, and the next month could be rocky. After lunch out, it'll be back home for some planning, packing, and we'll top the evening off with some BBQ.
Sunday is my Monday, so after a fab weekend it'll be off to work.
So happy for you!! Congratulations!
That's GREAT news! I hope the next step in the process goes as smoothly as possible. Can't wait to hear tht you guys have moved in!
