Restaurants Downtown
FIL is driving us down to the ATL tomorrow and we are going to stay at tge Westin before heading to Athens on Sunday. He wants to eat dinner somewhere semi close to the hotel - any recs? I'm leaning towards Ray's in the City (so I can get sushi!).
We will also probably get up and go to Buckhead Church on Sun morning. Any good brunch spots nearby?

Ray's is a good choice since its so close. There's also McCormick&Schmicks in CNN center or Legal Seafood is on the other side of Centennial Park.
For Brunch: BLT @ the "W" or ROOM @ 12 Centennial both have good brunch options. The Terrace on Peachtree @ the Ellis hotel has a very nice menu.

Brunch: The Flying Biscuit! The Buckhead location is near Buckhead Church, in the Terminus building on Peachtree. I've also heard good things about Buckhead Diner and Buckhead Bread Co. on Piedmont.
For dinner downtown, I've heard very good things about Nikolai's Roof in the Hilton, but it's $$$. There's also French American Brasserie, which is a little less expensive. Oh, and Lunacy Black Market is pretty new and getting RAVE reviews.
