So we had a VERY exciting night last night. DH and I put an offer in on a house!!! So please can we have some vibes that we get the house and that the process goes smooth and that they allow us to close with a nice low number!!
Those of you who have purchased...how long will it be till we get a reply from the seller?
Re: House Vibes....
Yay! That's so awesome!!
Did you put the offer in through a buyer's agent or do it yourselves? If the person selling really wants to get out, they should respond within a day or so.
I'm in a pretzel stance for you!

Congrats!! Sending lots of vibes your way!!
We just bought our first house, and closed 2 weeks ago. We put in an offer on a Sunday afternoon and received a counteroffer on Monday morning, which we accepted. I'd say you'll hopefully hear in 24-48 hours!!
Good luck!!!
TTC #1 since 4/10, Dx: MFI IVF planned for April/May
Thanks ladies!! You guys are the best!
@mel - We had our own agent who is putting the offer in for us with the sellers agent.
I'm doubtful that they will accept our first lowball offer but I'm hopeful they come back at us with something reasonable!!
We even met the neighbors when we were looking at it on Monday (our 2nd time through) and they have a 1 year old and the CUTEST puppy!!
They moved in in June so that would be awesome!
oooh how exciting!! when we bought our house we heard back within a few hours actually -- i think the sellers were quite antsy to get rid of the house.
Your agent's contract may have a reply by date, which is probably 2 days so hopefully you'll hear something soon. Keep us posted!
