chocolate chip cookie dough smooshed into a pan & baked like brownies?
I've gotten into a debate about this & Im curious to see what people call them.

J's whole family calls them blonde brownies, ummm no.
I would call those cookie bars.
There is something called Blondies but that is a different type of dessert - they have no chocolate in them at all - equally delicious though.
Yeah those are definitely cookie bars.
Blondies (which are one of my favorite desserts) are made a lot like brownies, except they get their richness from melting/mixing brown sugar with the butter instead of chocolate. You can still add chocolate chips or whatever, but that's not really part of the dough.
Can anyone guess what I'll be baking tonight?
I would love your Blondie recipe. I really want to make some but hate all the recipes for them I have.
ditto. Blondies are something totally different. They're cookie bars.
