XP: question for any bugaboo mamas?

Hi everyone i haven't been here in ages...but my IE nesties have always been a great resource. :)

can you gate check a bugaboo in a transport bag?  or do i have to check in my bugaboo in the transport bag at the ticket counter?

Re: XP: question for any bugaboo mamas?

  • I didn't even do that - just tagged it at the gate.
  • You can gate check the stroller, but not too sure about security allowing you to lug the bag to your gate. ?They might just tell you to check the stroller in the bag with baggages.

Sorry, not much of help. ?We've never traveled with our bugaboos.?

  • thanks guys...

i don't want to get my bugaboo messed up in any way and i heard some horror stories of bugaboos getting damaged gate checked so i thought of just putting it in the transport bag but maybe the hassle of wondering if they'd even let me gate check isn't worth it....i think i will just end up buying an inexpensive stroller to travel with...

been too long since i've been on here

hope everyone here is doing well  :)

  • I'm totally late on this, but I take a cheapie stroller (actually love it for traveling more than my bug or my bob) and gate check it in a giant stroller bag to keep it clean.  The bag does fold up and toss into the basket though, so that might be different.
