Migraine Sufferers

I'm sorry it's so long. Shorter version:
As we were walking into the school building building yesterday, M told me he was warm. I took this as a positive sign that his circulation was getting better (he tends to always be cold). Just before 11, the school called. They said he had been complaining that his head hurt, and then vomited. His doctor told me to take him to the emergency room because she was worried about keeping him hydrated so that his heart doesn't work too hard.
When I picked him up, he was miserable and weak. He said only his stomach was bothering him. By the time we got to the hospital, his head was killing him again. They just checked him in and gave him a Tylenol before he threw up again. After that, he seemed to feel better.
Two doctors conferred and told me they were worried because it's possible for post-cardiac patents to get an aneurysm. They did a battery of tests and did a chest x-ray and CAT scan. M felt better as soon right after he vomited in the hospital, and even ate a sandwich while we waited. The tests came back normal, and they sent us home.
We spent a whole day in the ER, and still have no idea what happened to him. He really was in excruciating pain, so I'd like to prevent similar episodes in the future. This, combined with something that happened at the hospital for his heart has me concerned he has some neurological issue that hasn't been diagnosed. The pediatrician thinks it may have been a migraine or an absence seizure. We're trying to get an appointment with a neurologist on Monday. I really hope it's just a migraine, although I don't wish them on anybody. The alternative is just too scary to contemplate.

It could be one. I generally don't throw up but many many do. I would ask him where his head hurt. Typically migraines are worst on one side of your head. Ask him if light hurt his eyes or if normal sounds seemed too loud. Also typical of migraines.

My migraines hit right between my eyes and at the base of my skull. I get nauseous and have noise and light sensitivity and feel weak. I don't throw up, but I know some do.
I know the language barrier makes it hard. it may be hard for him to explain nausea and so he says " my stomach hurts" instead.
I am sorry he is suffering. poor guy.
Ditto all of this I've never thrown up but I very rarely throw up with anything. I do get extreme light and sound sensitivity.
