Hi everyone. I am new to the board. I am from Orlando Florida. My fiance and I moved here in December. It has been quite the change. I work for 5/3, and I am the proud owner of a jack russell terrier, and a cavalier king charles spaniel. No children yet, perhaps after my wedding next year.??
?
Anyway, I just wanted to properly introduce myself. ?
Re: Starting over
Hi!!!
My name's Laura. I'm live in Las Vegas now, but used to live in Michigan. I'd LOVE to go back, but it doesn't seem to be in the cards right now.
I have one boy -- he's 11.
Welcome!
Have you ever experienced a "true" winter yet?
I imagine that will be a big shock coming from FL.
Welcome! DH and I spent 10 weeks in Bradenton FL last summer and loved it (even the heat)! The winters here will probably be an adjustment for you, but they come with their own kind of fun.
I love CKCS dogs and recently convinced my parents to get one. They love him and are totally sold on the breed now. What is yours named?

Hi! Welcome to the board and a belated welcome to Michigan!
I was looking at your web site and noticed the Jack Russel photos. He's (she's?) cute! I like the one where he's laying upside down on the floor.
Welcome! I'm originally from Kansas, and I still get a bit of shock from the winters in MI, so I couldn't imagine coming from FL in December!
This is a pretty good board, so I'm glad you are here

Welcome. Like I said before, I know your future SIL throught another message board.
Congrats on the upcoming wedding.
I have two girls Allison (3) and Amelia who is almost 2. They are 14.5 months apart. I also have the world's largest golden retriever name Osgood.
I am orginally from the other side of the state but moved hear for college and never left. I LOVE West Michigan and all that it has to offer.
Holy Moly I do not know why my post posted 1 million times!!
I'm sorry about that...
Anyway, I hated the winter, but I eventually got used to it. We are getting married here in GR at Kent Country Club. We were going to get married down south, but it will cost way to much to fly everyone down there.
I absolutely am in love with my CKCS. He is the most lovey, snuggely, little guy. He is as soft as silk as well. All he cares to do in the world is snuggle. His tail goes nuts when kids are around. He is so gentle with kids. He doesnt jump up and he doesnt lick them. Its quit amazing. I often wonder if CKCS were created soley for families, and laps. He sleeps in bed sometimes, and I always find him curled up around my feet, or right under my arm.
My Jack Russell is another story. I love her to death. She is halarious. She is very hyper, and jumpy. She is a great lap dog, but she is more of an athlete. She needs constant attention, and constant excersize. This is a terrier trait. One thing that is unique about her, you can see that she loves my FI and I with all of her energy just by looking into her eyes. She is so protective of us, and is always alert when anyone comes near us. She and Winston do not get along. Winston is absolutely in love with her, and she just views him as getting in the way of her relationship with myself and my Fi. Its quite complex
Anyway both dogs are a blessing, and you will definately always find us at the Fuller Dog park.
You can find pics of them on my face book, and on my profile on here. If you just search afields08@gmail.com on facebook you'll find me
