2nd anniversary coming up... Cotton?

I think Joe is getting me a new lamp I've been crushing on... with a linen (cotton!) lampshade!
That works, right?
You could do a custom screen printed shirt (I've seen fun ones on Etsy). I know that is clothing - but it's a bit more original than just picking one out at the store. New sheets. New towels (too blech? I get excited by new towels!). A photo/piece of art printed on canvas. (becuase that's made of fabric, right? close enough to cotton!) A fabric/rope hammock with stand to enjoy next summer. A fun purse (like a LILL bag maybe? pick your own cotton fabric).

We follow the traditional wedding gifts each year. For cotton, I bought him lots of comfy cotton clothes (pajama bottoms and t-shirts). He thought is was the greatest thing. He bought me a blanket with our names and wedding date stitched on it from Things Remembered.
I bought this just for fun and wear it quite a bit. People always get a kick out of it.

Just today? That's not like you at all!
For our 2nd anniversary, I bought Mike boxers and a new tie to wear to job interviews. He got me a bathrobe and a new outfit to wear to Zumba.
I'm back to work, so I have been more tired than usual. But not TOO tired.
Aw, this is a cute idea! (Although you shouldn't be nesting on your birthday, dear! Go have fun and enjoy the beautiful day! haha)
