Do you have any recommendations for where to go to get portraits done?
I'm also interested in going to some consignment sales -- do you know of any upcoming sales in the area, or good consignment shops?
Thanks!
Re: Albany Moms
Thanks! It's hard to forget your affiliation w/ that siggy always reminding me I'm in "enemy territory"

I feel like I should make friends in my own neighborhood, so I should be on this board more often! But it seems like our board gets more traffic than this one?
Baby Revolution Sale (Albany)

My fave is Polka Dots, but I happen to live near them so I get a lot of deals by stopping in a lot

Thank you! I'm glad I asked when I did, so I don't miss the second two of this season.
Do you volunteer at any of them? It's too late to get a pass to the Chatham sale, but I got one to the Wolf Rd. one for Saturday morning -- do you think it'll be too late to get anything good? I'm looking for clothes, a few good toys, and an inexpensive umbrella stroller -- for my 6 month old.
I agree with ArticFox, that's a good list of consignment shops. I haven't been to the any of the sales other than the one at Albany Academy and it traumatized me LOL!
For a umbrella stroller, I highly recommend the Chicco one. It's a big more expensive, around $50 but that thing works so well and my husband is comfortable pushing it because a lot of umbrella strollers have shorter handles. It's been my prime choice for my two boys. It's great for traveling as well. It's not bulky but it's sturdy. It lasted through a week of Orlando theme parks.
