Weekend plans?
So it's the freaking weekend, baby! Anybody going to have some fun?
DH and I are going out for Mexican tonight, mostly because it was nacho day at my school and all my students could talk about today was how amazing the nachos were. Well guess who didn't eat nachos? That's right. Me. And I came home with a GIGANTIC craving for nachos! Then we're planning on just renting a movie, maybe "Date Night," and popping a bottle of wine and just relaxing.
Any big plans for any of you ladies?
Re: Weekend plans?
We aren't doing much. Just hanging out tonight. Tomorrow we are going to Ikea to get a sideboard for our dining room (a place to store the rest of our gifts). We might go out to a new sushi place tomorrow to thank our friends for taking care of our cats while we were on our honeymoon.
Probably just relaxing and doing laundry on Sunday!
DH and I are heading to Tamworth to visit my cousin who is working there on a three month exchange.
Hopefully it won't involve a trip to all of his family on the way.
My weekend is going to be boring, but enjoyable. Lots of cleaning to do. But tomorrow night is my church's cookout, so I'm happy to get some good food.
Can't wait for next weekend -- first home game for my school!

Last night we hung new curtains in our bedroom, and had nachos(!) for dinner.
I was supposed to work today, so I'm not sure about our plans now...maybe we'll hit up the apple orchard this afternoon after laundry this morning. I'm dying for some cider!
Tomorrow I have to work at 6am, so we'll probably just chill at home in the afternoon. Maybe think about rearranging the 2nd bedroom so it's actually functional
Need to make a new office space for the two of us that we'll actually use!

We just found out that my new full-time job (my old one has changed to part-time) is not going to happen. So I'm spending the week alternating between pissed off, stressed about money (thought that was done now that the wedding was over!) and job searching
But we did go to a meetup group (we're determined to meet some new friends here in San Diego) last night. It was a pub crawl, and while the people were maybe not our style, it was nice to get out, get our mind off things, and try some new places!
