I love my pets...but really????
My daughter and I went to a local Scottish Festival today. We took our dogs because you could and it was a beautiful day. We are shopping the booths. I turn the corner, look up, and see...
A couple that looks about maybe 55-60 pushing two bright red strollers. Each stroller has a battery operated fan attached in the back opening between the top of the seat and the sun shade on top. In each stroller is.......
A CAT. Yes, that's correct...a matching set of black and white tuxedo cats. And when I got around front, each stroller had various ribbons that each cat had won in cat shows.
That's all....I have nothing else I can think of to say about it
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!
Re: I love my pets...but really????
I wonder about people sometimes too... I work at a high end cooking store (locally owned, not a big box) on a somewhat "expensive" street here in town. People bring their small dogs in all. the. time (not so many big dogs come in - mostly small). We have food that is NOT good for dogs stored on the shelves, not to mention really breakable items that a wayward tail could easily shatter or knock over and break. I give the side eye to any person bringing in a small dog in a stroller, backpack, or purse too - dogs just don't belong in strollers unless they have a physical issue - or in stores for that matter. I just don't get it. I wouldn't bring my 80 pound dog into any store other than a pet store where she is obviously welcome to be. Don't get why people think that their dog in a purse should be an exception.
Cats in strollers, however, that is something I have yet to see in person. Were people staring? I think I would have!
