So I just had to share...
Okay, so this is pretty random, but I just told DH about this and he found it just as strange as I did. Also, he said that if he has dreams about Jessica Alba, he's now allowed to tell me about them.
*Let me preface this post with the fact that I never watched a single thing Star Trek related until I saw the new movie with Chris Pine as Captain Kirk on an IMax in London in summer 2009. Yes, Chris Pine's beautiful face on a 72 x 52 ft screen is a little hard to forget.
So last night, I had the strangest dream. There I was sitting on Capitain Kirk's lap (the new, cute Captain Kirk played by Chris Pine, mind you) aboard the Enterprise. I was in one of those ugly Star Trek uniforms, the icky yellow one, and I just kept telling him, "Now we can't tell my husband about this when we dock back at Earth." Captain Kirk said that he didn't care about my husband, that we'd just never go back down to Earth if it was the only way we'd be together. Then Spock jumped in and said something smart before getting beamed up into who knows where. Then, DH shows up on this big TV screen on the ship surrounded by evil minions saying that he'll blow the Enterprise to pieces in 3 hours if I don't leave Captain Kirk and come home.
WTH?! Strangest dream ever! Clearly, some part of my subconcious is either madly in love with Star Trek or Chris Pine (I'm going for the latter on this one). I haven't even seen that movie or heard anything about it since 2 summers ago! Haha, just had to share. Usually when I have dreams involving celebrities, it is almost always Johnny Depp that I'm running away with. Must've been some bad sushi last night or something...
Anybody else have any really messed up dreams, you know, ones where you're dating someone besides DH? I feel guilty for dreaming about the hot version of Captain Kirk...

lol i have had these dreams too... well not about star trek and chris pine but w/ random celebrities who i never had the hots for... but then i have my dream of dating them and then i have the hots for them. one was matthew fox right after that movie "we are marshall" came out. and then i had a random one with ashton kutcher. never thought he was hot, but when he was my college boyfriend in my dream i had a crush on him lol
i tell DH about these dreams and he just laughs. when we watch something and ashton kutcher happens to be on he will just say - babe your bf is on tv. but we've always been like that.... we each have our top 5 celebrity list (like they did on friends) with our free pass..lol

Ugh, the other night I had a random dream about being with an ex and hiding from DH about it. I never dream about celebrities, always with people I would never touch in real life. What's the psychology behind THAT??
I don't know who Chris Pine is, I think I need to look him up now...
ETA: Ok, yeah. New celebrity crush = Chris Pine.
I had a similar dream, but a little weirder (for me)...
In the dream I was married to my very first BF who I was sure I would marry when I was 20. But, in my dream I was like: what, why am I married to him? I don't even love him. Then, still in my dream, I met my actual husband, and cheated on my dream husband with him. It was so weird. I knew it was wrong, but I kept telling myself that there must have been some mix up, because I don't love him, and I broke up with him when I was 23. I woke up and told DH and he was like: wait, so it's actually a good dream, because we ended up together... weird. LOL
