Small entryway-where to keep purse, briefcase, diaper bag, etc?
We have limited storage space and a very small entryway and can't seem to find a good place to keep the diaper bags, everyday purse, and briefcases/work laptop bag. Where do you keep yours? Any ideas?

we have something like this:

also i bought from target a half bulitan board/dry erase board and put small hooks on the bottom of it to keep all of our keys.
we also have a charging station in our bedroom and this helps out ALOT!

I love these hook systems from Umbra: http://www.containerstore.com/shop/hooks/wallMounted?productId=10023093&N=69019
If your entryway is narrow you can fold the hooks back when not in use so no one will bump their arms/shoulders into them. And if you put a nice print or mirror above the hooks you can stash all those bags in the bedroom when you have company over and the hook system won't seem out of place.
I don't have a narrow entry way so I use a shelving system like pp with nice pleather bins that pull out to put things in like my purse, daughter's backpack, etc. On the top shelf is a charging station and my keys get dropped in the little front pocket of that. DH takes his phone and keys to the bedroom.
I thought about that kind of hook system for our daughter's coat, backpack, etc. but it's actually too contemporary for our home.

My hubby and I had a bulletin board and hooks in the entry way or other central location, for all the random notes, etc. . After a while the message center added a desk organizer for mail to fall in on the way in the door . .
The best thing was having a coat hook "rack" on the wall to put all the random coats and bags on the way in
we have a hall tree in our entry way. they have some that is 1/2 the width of ours, too, if width is an issue for you. we got ours at homedecorators.com.
