Need help with dinner tonight
Ladies,
I want to do something different tonight, but I am completely blank on what to do.
We have a package of ground beef that needs to be used and I don't want to do what I normal do (spaghetti, meat loaf, cheese burger pie, or sloppy joes).
DH is pretty picky on what can go into things (i.e., NO green, red, or yellow peppers...I just managed to get him to eat onions a couple of months ago).
ideas?

Haven't tried it yet but this looked nummy: http://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/mexican-bubble-pizza/83f1bd35-d6d3-46ce-8f80-ccd7473dfb8a/
Shmel's Blog
Mexican Lasagna (Rachael Ray has a good recipe, or the South Beach diet recipe is delish)
Chili?
Burgers (like, awesome burgers - just search Bobby Flay burger on food network and you'll get a lot of great ideas)
Hmmm I use ground beef all the time and now I'm at a loss.

This is a simple but very tasty meal! I love it myself and so does DH and the kids because it doesn't take as long as regular meatloaf and it tastes better than the meatloaf I ate as a kid.
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
i've been meaning to do this soon...quick salisbury steaks...
add to chop meat some onion, garlic and seasonings (salt, pepper, parsley if you like), make little patties and fry in a little oil in a skillet till brown. add a can of brown gravy and simmer for 20-30 minutes. veryyyy good with mashed potatoes and a veggie side.
@Laurie: DH dislikes Mexican food (I love it). Everytime I make tacos, enchiladas, or fajitas he will make himself something else to eat. And I don't know how to "introduce" these foods to him so that he will eat them.
Another example of how picky he is, when I first met him he would not use salad dressing on his salads. It took a year to just get him to try to eat a salad with ceasar dressing...now that is the only dressing he will use and he will not try others...
