Fit Friday...urhhhmmm...Monday

Sorry ladies!  I'm slacking already!  How did everyone do last week?  I thought I did good...scale said only .5 loss.  I'm tired of not seeing the numbers go down!  I did, however, manage to fit into a pair of size 8 jeans over the weekend that I couldn't fit into before!  Could be the brand of jean but I don't care!

 

Let's see...last week we did favorite exercise.  What is your favorite veggie and how do you make it?

  • I'm maintaining, but I'm having a hard time getting the motivation to workout.  Although since DH has been eating healthier it's been helping me.  Gotta get back on the exercise wagon though.

    My favorite veggie is broccoli.  I like to steam it then saute it with a touch of olive oil and season it with seasoning salt and red pepper flakes.   

  • Yeah, I GAINED 2 pounds. yuck. 

    My favorite veggie... um, i love them all.  My favorite way to eat them.. um... i love grilled veggies....

     

  • Down 3.4 lbs since September 1st.  Wish is was more but at least the numbers are headed in the right direction.  Nothing I can really notice, although I can say I feel better with regualar exercise.

    On  my way home from my 7 mile bike ride on Saturday morning I completely wiped out...smashed my head, hurt my neck and hip and random cuts and bruises all over.  So of course, there has been no exercise since...I'm hoping by mid week or the weekend I'm back in business. 

    I don't really have just one favourite veggie..........we often make a grilled vegtable medley on the bar-b-que that usually consists of sweet potato, brussel sprouts, asparagus, green/yellow beans, broccolli/cauliflower.

  • Just maintained, no loss but also no gain.  On Saturday I did the Shred and then hauled wood all afternoon, so needless to say I am STILL sore everywhere!  We went to the Steelers game Sunday though, so I'm sure I ate and drank way too many calories that day Tongue Tied

    Hmmm, my favorite veggie, I would say asparagus or brussel sprouts.  I like to eat asparagus grilled with some lemon and pepper on it.  I like to steam my brussel sprouts and flavor them with some salt.

    My biggest challenge is finding the time/energy to work out.  I skipped tonight since I'm beat from work (which always seems to be the case), but I'm hoping to work out tomorrow after I get home.
