Babies who are driven to crawl
Really don't want to let themselves fall asleep. Every night this week has been horrible at bedtime. He cannot settle down to sleep. He rolls over, starts to doze off the pushes up on his arms as if he's going to forget how if he doesn't do it incessantly. I've had to hold him to sleep almost every night. Poor driven guy. I've noticed if he's on his back and playing with a toy he can let himself drift off so now I'm trying that. Once he's out he's good, thank goodness. We've been so fortunate with his sleep so far I really can't complain. I can't wait for this phase to pass.

Ready to rumble.
Re: Babies who are driven to crawl
We still have to put Ryker to sleep. Rolling is just too fun. I assume it will be the same with crawling.
So, when do you lower the crib? I have three levels. it is on the highest now.
Your baby has restless limb syndrome.
Mucho likes purple nails and purple cupcakes
It's restless everything syndrome, Dawg.
Winger, you'll want to lower it when he starts pulling up.
Winged, we just lowered the mattress to the middle level, because he's constantly pulling himself up to a kneeling position. He hasn't stood up in the crib yet, but I know that's coming.
And Lindsay, the sitting up in bed thing is annoying. Miles immediately sits up when he wakes up, which I believe means, "I'm done sleeping, get me the heck out of here".
