Moving Work Btw Home Office and Job. . .

Hello Everyone! I'm really having some struggles with some organization! I manage a company and I also mange my husbands business. . . The company I work for allows alot of down time to actually do a majority of my husbands work there however, I do not know how to keep everything organized as I move it from places to place. . Any suggestions on the best way to move things back and forth?

  • Hey there. What kind of files do you need help with transporting? Hard or electronic. There's a solution for both. A thumb drive (a.k.a flash drive) can help keep docs on hand at all times. They make them small enough to keep on a key chain or whatever. Another option is gmail docs. I also manage a business and have my own personal business so I use gmail docs.

For hard files, that's pretty easy. Just have files and if you're a color code fanatic like myself, buy different color folders in order to categorize everything. They have those plastic briefcase looking things that you can transport the files in.

That's all I could think of for now and with cheap, mobile solutions.

This is what I was going to suggest and it's actually what I used to use!  Before I became a SAHW, I worked at an office but also took a lot of work home and need to easily transport things; unfortunately, not all of my files always fit into my bag, so I had one of the plastic file bins (with a handle) to help carry most of it!  It was so nice and convenient...it was like a travel filing cabinet!
