Easiest way to clean baseboards?

What is the easiest way (an easiest on the knees and back!) to clean baseboards?

tia!

Re: Easiest way to clean baseboards?

  • If you do need to get on hands and knees, get some really thick volleyball knee pads. FIL uses them for painting trim in houses. The knee pads also come in handy for bathing kids!

  • The more often you vacuum the dust from the baseboards, the less often you need to scrub them. Last week I shampooed the carpets and when I moved our bed out from the wall, I realized I haven't vacuumed the baseboards in a while and they were quite dusty.

  • Mr Clean Magic Eraser.  Works like a charm!
  • Ours are painted white. I just used a magic eraser on them and they are as good as new!

I use the brush attachment on the vacuum and go over them every time I vacuum as well.
