I forgot, where do you love again? I am thinking Alabama.
Kentucky
I knew that. Why was I thinking Alabama? My brain is fried and its only Monday.
LOL! Autumn is from Alabama.
I've never been to Connecticut. I would love to go to that area someday. What's the weather like up there now?
Consequently, I wouldn't be able to spell Connecticut correctly in order to save my life if it was on the line.

Sometime before I go in for the bloodwork so that she can analyze both lab results at the same time. I feel confident (maybe hopeful is a better word) that the first one was just a bad sample.
It's starting to get cool here. Low 70s and high 60s now. Not enjoying the shorter days.

I do feel hopeful.
I told her my concerns about my weight, my irregular periods, etc...and she said we would get it all figured out
On CD 3, she wants me to come in fasting and she's going to test my thyroids, cholesterol, blood sugar, testosterone levels, and then all of the normal things when TTC. She talked to me a lot about Clomid. She wasn't worried about L's results because she said it could just be a bad sample and if the second one comes back like that, she will refer him to a urologist before she worries.
The thing that made me feel hopeful was that she really took the time to look at my charts I printed off from Fertility Friend and ask me questions. That made me feel kind of empowered like I was on the right track and she knew that I knew a little about what I was talking about in regards to my concerns. I read somewhere that a lot of Dr.s don't put much value in FF charts, but my Dr. says that when people do them correctly (like she said it appeared like I did), they are extremely helpful to Dr.s.
Didn't you have an appointment last week? How did that go?
Yeah, I don't like the shorter days but I would love the 70's and 60's!! It's still pushing 90 here. Are the trees changing yet? It's been so dry here I can't tell if they are dying or changing.
I'll trade you the 70s for the 90s. Leaves are starting to change here. Have been for a month now. I'm not ready for Fall yet.
I am glad that your doctor was so supportive of you charting. It blows my mind that some doctors are not. My doctor is glad that I am doing it and loves that I am informed.
I did have an appointment last Wednesday. They did some bloodwork and were going to check all my levels to see if my metformin is doing its job. She was going to talk to another doctor and see if they should up my dosage and try to get my PCOS under control before referring me to an RE. I know that is the right way to go but it can take a few months to see and I am just impatient. So I am waiting to hear back from my doctor but in the meantime I started a low- carb, low glycemic index diet to try to get my insulin in check. I am pretty overwhelmed with the different diets and frustrated with it, but I figured it was worth a shot if it gets me a baby. What better motivation! Everytime I see something I want, I just think about how I can have it later but now I want a baby.

Yeah the low-carb/low glycemic index diet would be hard. My mom is a type 2 diabetic and I try to eat healthy to try to avoid being diabetic later in life, but that diet would stink because I'm in love with carbs.
Maybe once you do that diet for a while, you'll get used to it and be healthier altogether. And, once you have your baby, you might want to continue that diet because it truly is good for you.
Hopefully, with the new diet, your ob/gyn can get your PCOS under control and you can get pg without the RE
I am hoping it works! It is going to be super hard because I love sweets and that is pretty much a no no everywhere. I will admit that right now I am just trying to be conscience of the bad carbs I eat and cut back as much as I can where I can, but not totally. I am hoping that this combined with the metformin works.

I like just about all of them Pooks. That's my problem.
Ice cream is my weakness and I could seriously sustain myself on it.
If I was forced to choose a favorite, I would say chocolate just because you can't go wrong with that. I also enjoy cookie dough, coffee-flavored, cherry cordial...
thanks for helping me up my post count girls
I am going to have to go to bed now. I'll be bronze tomorrow! Woohooo!
I'm a breastfeeding, baby wearing, cloth diapering, co-sleeping, anti-CIO Mommy
