Morning from a non-goalie puller!

To use Aleesh's words from the other post.  Looks like my prediction that some of you will be on number 2 before we're on number 1 will come true.

Phones are back at work, which is good.  Found out a class I registered for the army won't pay for me to drive to, so I had to cancel it, WTF.  Other than that just another day at work.  Hopefully getting some stuff out for review and award!

PS-I've realized how little people actually read things.  I sent letters to some contractors yeterday regarding a notification that we have to do by law.  They don't even read the letter and just just about 10 steps down the line asking for information that I can't release yet.  Ugh!

  • Morning.  A quiet day of data entry here.  Hoping I don't get any budget stuff to do today.  I want to get my data entry caught up before getting thrown back in the budget mess.

I am also spending the day emailing back and forth with my mom to finalize the plans for the Welcome Home pig roast my parents are having next weekend for DH and a few of his/our closest friends that all deployed together.  So far all 7 of the deployed guys and about 60 friends and family are going.  Its going to be a blast.  I'm glad my parents are buying a couple cases of beer becaue I don't think 1 keg will be enough.

  • Morning!  My co-worker took a personal day to take her son to the doctor (He broke his leg playing football over the weekend.) and I thought I would be much busier than I am.  I flew through my orders and now I'm just sitting around waiting for other people to do stuff so I can do stuff.  Hurry up and wait.  Awesome!  At least the phone isn't ringing off the hook, knock on wood.

  • Morning from another non-goalie puller. If this week is any indication of how the MBA program is going to go, I just don't think I'll have the energy to add baby-making and baby-baking to my to-do list. I'd love to, but I think we're going to have to push back our timeline a bit.

It's a really quiet day at the office for me, so I've been doing some schoolwork. I'm really thinking I need to talk to my boss about some schedule adjustments. Even an extra 30 minutes a day would be awesome.
