Someone has a toofie!! Yep, my mom calls me this morning and says, "you forgot to tell me he has a tooth!" I said, "um, what? he has a tooth?!" (mom of the year, right!?) She said she had her finger in his mouth (he likes to gnaw on them) and felt something sharp and looked and there's a little white tooth poking through!
I called Nick and told him and he said he'd believe it when he saw it and sure enough, it's there, it's a sharp little sucker!?

AWWWW! Yay for the toofie, but he's getting too big
Did he have a fever or anything beforehand? I just hear my friends talk about how their kids got real whiny and sick before they got their teeth.
No joke, he needs to slow this stuff down!?
I've heard that too so I was trying to think...I didn't notice a fever, he's always kinda warm and he didn't seem any fussier than normal really. He woke up screaming this morning but we figured he was hungry/still tired...but like Whit said, maybe it just popped through this am.?

Yay Campbell! You must be disappointed that you missed it, but at least grandma found it first, and not some random daycare teacher (I'm dreading the day someone at daycare tells me that Jacob took his first steps).
What a big boy! And that is AWESOME that you didn't have to endure some crazy teething hell. What a good little boy he is. He must have a high pain threshold, with the teeth and the shots.
BTW: he must have communicated to Jacob, because Jacob went to daycare today in a romper that says "chomp chomp" on it!

In my family, whoever finds the first tooth has to buy his first real pair of good waling shoes.. I found Jack's 1st tooth, but didn't say anything.. I made my MIL find it and she had to buy him 2 pairs of Stride Rites... Those shoes are Expensive
OMG, that's hilarious Amy! Stride Rites are expensive, my mom is all about them too so hopefully she'll buy them :P
Yes, Rebecca, Campbell and Jacob like to talk all these miles away, they're probably on little baby cell phones in their cribs while we sleep!
From what I read on the Working Moms board many daycares won't tell you if your kid did something new so then when they do it at home you think it's the first time.
Pooks, he won't let us get a picture! The second you stick your finger on his lip to pull it down he sticks his tongue out and if you push his tongue around he thinks its fun and keeps moving it and laughing. It's just a small speck of white I could see anywho.
ha ha! You're going to have to wait until he's wailing with his mouth wide open to snap a pic!
