How do you clean your coffee maker?
Not the day to day cleaning, I am curious about how you do the every once in awhile deep clean.
I have this coffee maker:
Re: How do you clean your coffee maker?
Run a vinegar solution through it to clean out the inner working parts and soak your pot and grounds tray in vinegar solution to remove all of the coffee stains and etc. . once you're satisfied that it's clean run just plain water through a few times to remove all the vinegar residue. . .
Works wonders on removing coffee and tea stains! (often times lime build up from tap water too)

Ditto the vinegar. In addition, for a sparkling clean carafe, I put a few ice cubes, 2 Tbsp salt, & 2 Tbsp lemon juice in the carafe. Then I vigorously swirl the ice/salt/juice in the carafe for a full minute (sometimes longer, as needed).
This exactly. We do ours about every 3 months or so.
