update: one car family
I wanted to update you all since you were so supportive with our decision to try and go one-car.
It's not happening. Well, I guess nothing is ever for sure - for sure, but I can say pretty comfortably that it's not happening.
We took my car to Carmax to see if we could sell it to them and their offer was a joke. Worse then a joke actually. I know we can still do private sale, and I think we may try that for a month to see if it happens, but I just don't think it will.
I'm pretty bummed because I think it would have been a great financial move for us, but I'm taking a page from Becky - it's causing me too much stress right now, I just need to move on for now.

Don't beat yourself up about it, some things just aren't meant to be
You could still save money by making a huge effort to not drive the 2nd car and only drive it when you really, really need to. That will definitely save on gas money.
