Tell me something that you would LOVE to cook... but you just haven't gotten around to it. Whether it's because you are timid about something that is out of your normal realm or it just takes a LONG time and a lot of skill to make it, tell me about it.

Re: Tell Me Tuesday
I found a recipe for chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes. They have actual cookie dough in the middle. YUM! I know that H would love them but they just look like they're going to be a ton of work. Maybe one day I'll give them a try!
I have never been the greatest at baking and kinda got discourage last Christmas when I baked three different kinds of cookies and only 1 was really good.
So last week I tried making banana nut bread and it came out pretty good. I also made some homemade pizelles with my new maker and they were really yummy.
But the next thing I want to make is homemade peanut butter pie and beef stew as well as other soups. We just got a crock pot this weekend off of our registry and I can't wait to put it to good use.
I made an apple pie this weekend and used pre-made Pillsbury crust. I'm just so lazy and a little inept at cooking. I wish I had the guts/patience/energy to try making a homemade crust.
But that pie was still pretty good!

Good luck if you get to them before I do!
OMG its so ON! I cant wait to make these!
H's grandma makes the best cakes. I would LOVE to learn from her. Too bad she's such a hateful person who criticizes everyone who is not in the room. It might be worth it to spend some time in the kitchen with her, though. She's an amazing cook.
There's plenty of things I'd like to try. I want to make homemade tortillas, I've heard it was easy, but I want someone who knows what they are doing to teach me (i.e. a Hispanic woman and not Betty Crocker). Also, I've never really made grease gravy. I've watched/helped a few times. It's just never something my Weight Watchers family ever did. H's mom said she'd stand by me over Thanksgiving weekend and guide me through it.
I'm trying those cupcakes, by the way
