Re: Looking for vacuum recs

  • Honestly you won't find too many in the 100-150 range that will last very well. . . . But then I'm a tried and true vacuum murderer! I bought vacuum's in that range to replace ones that I killed in that range . . ended up wasting more money than anything else. I spent a little bit more 300-400 and got myself an original Dyson. I haven't had a single problem with it . . . Things is fabulous and replaced two vacuums (the upright and the dirt devil) along with saving me cash because I haven't had to replace it in three years! Yay!

My mom hasn't had quite as good of luck with the Dyson Animal, But I think that's because she sucked water into it. . . Who knows :o)

  • Bissell Pet Hair Eraser - haven't had it for a long time yet but so far so good

  • I'd look at Bissell's.  I haven't been on here much lately, but at this time last year there were several members that loved their Bissells (honestly, I have a Dyson and it doesn't work nearly as well).
