I am helping my Mom throw a bridal shower in a few weeks and we need to come up with a game or two. I am NOT a shower game person, so I am not the best one to come up with the ideas since if it was up to me, there would be no games
Anyone have a good one that isn't super over the top and doesn't involve a lot? I am thinking the opposite of the toilet paper dress contest, not that there's anything wrong with that if you are into that sort of thing.

Re: shower games
at my shower, we did a door prize where everyone wrote their names on an envelope with their address and we threw them in a hat and drew a name for the prize. Then all the envelopes are addressed for thank you cards.
We also measured my thigh where the garter goes and whoever got closest won a prize.
We did a questionaire about me and had everyone answer.
Nothing too huge and involed. People enjoyed it and it was easy
I did two that I enjoyed and weren't super involved. For the first one, everyone got a notecard (I left the room) and they had to write down their favorite memory or story about me with their name. Once everyone was done, they gave them to the host who read them aloud and I had to match the person to the story. Some of them were tough!
The other involved the host emailing a list of questions to DH about us (where did you go for your first date, what were each of you wearing - be specific, what is the date of your anniversary, what is your shoe size, etc.) and for every one I got wrong, I had to chew a piece of bubble yum gum. That wad was HUGE by the time I was done - mostly because DH got a ton of stuff wrong and even though my answer was correct, it was still "wrong" for the purpose of the game. :-P
We did this one for one of my showers, and at another one my MIL had me leave the room, and passed a tray of stuff around with wedding related items on it (think memory)...then after the tray had gone around and everyone was trying to remember what was on the tray...she proceeded to say "now write down everything you can remember Janell wearing"...certainly a new twist on an old game, it was suprising how many people couldn't remember even though I had just been in the room a minute ago
Most got one or two things but some people got real creative (think under garments).
This sounds really fun!
At my shower there were alot of people I did not know very well, mom's friends, dad's co-workers..... They passed around pictures of me and people wrote down a guess as to how old I was in the picture. The person with the most right got a prize. It was fun for me to see what my mom had dug up from her photo books.
