DH's birthday is next week and has requested a red velvet cake. I've never made one from scratch so I want to try it this time. What's the best red velvet cake recipe you know? Want to do a homemade frosting too!

I use Cream Cheese Icing for my red velvet and I normally use Wilton's Cream Cheese Recipe!

Oooh, going to look for the sugar cookie post. I'm very particular about my sugar cookies and have been searching for the perfect recipe (as close as possible to Potbelly's).
