Woke myself up by screaming "Fvck Off" this morning
My mom stayed here with us last night as a stopover on the way to visit my brother for my nephew's baptism this weekend (first time we've seen her since the wedding!). She asked me to make sure she didn't sleep past 8:30am so she would have time to get up and get ready for her flight.
Since I haven't been setting an alarm in the morning, I told Dave to make sure that I got up when he did. Some time in the wee hours of the morning, I dreamed that the alarm went off and that I went into my mom's room to wake her. When I got there she looked at her watch and told me that it was only 6:30 in the morning. So I go back to my room, where Dave is lying in bed giggling that his "trick" fooled me. So I yelled at him to fvck off while climbing back into bed. Only instead of just cussing him out in my dream, I screamed it out loud IRL. Which woke us both up. I fell right back to sleep, but poor Dave was pretty confused as to what the hell just happened!

This is especially funny to me because we were lying in bed talking last night before we fell asleep, and specifically talked about how neither of us are frequent sleep-talkers, although we've both done it, it's rare. And then I go yelling up a storm.
Last September I was staying with friends for a few nights. My first night there I woke myself up at about 2 or 3 in the morning with an actual scream. Not a yell, but a high pitched SHRIEK. I have no idea what I was dreaming about, but I was sitting bolt upright in bed and screaming when I woke up. I was sooooooooo mortified but I asked the next morning and apparently I hadn't woken anyone up. (Or they were trying to save me embarrassment and just not mentioning it. Which, with my friends, is highly unlikely).
LOL that is great! I know I probably have done something similar before.
