Intro!
Hi! My name is Mary and we moved to Dallas in June after my job transferred me here. We got married May 15th and moved to Dallas from OH right after we got back from the honeymoon! It has pretty much been a blur since we moved and haven't had time to venture out yet so suggestions for things to do, restaurants, places to take our friends coming in town, dog parks-anything!- are greatly appreciated! We love Dallas so far, despite the scary tornados running through the state tonight! I have been on the knot for over 2 years now and will prolly start going crazy on this message board now too! We are loving the path we have taken, newlyweds in a new city, knowing no one but each and just enjoying every moment as it comes!

Welcome (to Dallas and the board) and congratulations on your marriage! I'm a June bride transfer from TK, as well
I'm on the opposite side of town from Plano, so I may not be a huge help. The only dog parks I know of are on Mockingbird and off 30 at Jim Miller (east side of town).
If you have specific interests that you want to explore in town, let us know. There is just too much to do to list!

I love the Frisco mall, soooo many stores and restaurants everywhere! I am still getting used to this but I will make sure to check out the anniversary and may 2010 board!
