Anyone else dislike the dentist?
I have always been nervous about going, its very bad past experiences that have terrified me.
I have to go for a cleaning and checkup this afternoon, and Im not looking forward to it 
Let's hope I dont have any cavities or problems.

Me! I havent been in a very long time and I'm pretty sure I have a few cavaties. I've never had one before, so I'm scared of the unknown. My dentist I had my of my childhood was so rough and then he pulled all 4 my wisdom teeth at once and didnt stich up the giant holes so that I had to deal with the aftermath. I dont think I went too many more times after that.
Luke needs to go soon and I know he's going to hate it.

I don't mind going at all. I've used the same dentist since I was 5. He's great, and his staff is awesome. I've never had a procedure that hurt - even shots and a root canal. Of course I was sore afterward, but the process didn't hurt.
I love the dentist! like emily, i went to the same dentist from the time i was in kindergarten up through college (I'd schedule all my appointments for when I was visiting home)
since i've moved away I've had to find a new place and that's been a struggle. i've gone through a couple of bad ones, but I think we're finally with a great one now!
i've always gotten lots of compliments on my teeth, so I think that has attributed to my positive outlook on going to the dentist
