Could some one please fill me in on the books Th Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins??? I see these everywhere and just recently bit the bullet and bought a Nook so I am looking for some things to read...would I like her books?
Re: Tell me about...
Violent doesn't bother me...I love John Sandford and he's pretty violent in his books and foul mouthed too.
I didn't realize that they were considered "Young Adult" though, they looked like any other adult fiction novel on the market (not that they have to look different but some young adult books I've read recently do).
Perhaps I'll have to read the first one and see how I like it.
I like John Sandford as well.
About the "Young Adult" thing, the main character is about 16 or so and parts of the book deal with teen angst, but I didn't feel like it was distracting. I loved Harry Potter, but didn't care for Twilight. I guess it has more to do with how good the writing is. Of course, I love teen angst, so it might just be me!
