Today I'm thankful for.....
I've been in a funk lately. I know my boss felt he was doing the right thing, by giving me plently of notice, but it's making life miserable, I need a positive.
Today I'm thankful that my son is healthy, loves school, and does his homework with minimal pre-teen attitudes.
What are you thankful for?
Re: Today I'm thankful for.....
I am thankful that my job situation allows me to spend time with my girls during the week, but also allows me to get out of the house, which I need.
I'm thankful for Bian's job. Everytime I think back to last year at this time it makes my stomach tighten thinking how bleak everything was. Yes, we took a hit in pay and benefits, but we are still in good shape.
I am also thankful that I can focus on my family this year. My girls are young enough that they are not involved with any extra events, etc. We are not rushing around trying to do stuff. I know that will change this year and I am going to be very guarded with family time this year and enjoy every last minute of it. I know once they get involved with stuff, we will enjoy and have fun, but it is kind of nice not having obligations other than work.
I would be very thankful for this as well!
This is a great post! I'm in a bit of a funk today/lately too.
Today I'm thankful for the health of my dad. He needs heart surgery and has been on medication to keep him going until he can have it (which won't be for a few months). This summer the meds caused him to go into a depression but over the last two weeks he switched meds and is no longer depressed AND the meds are working much better for regulating his heart (which doesn't beat correctly). So thankful for regular sinus rhythm!

Nothing, no wait that isn't right. I am in a horrible mood this evening.
I am thankful for my husband and my dog.
Most days I don't know how I would get by with out them.
I am thankful for my health (even when I am unhappy with it)
Good post.
I am thankful for a fun birthday weekend reuniting with an old friend.
I'm thankful my husband really does seem to cherish me and adore me even when he's pissing me off (aka I don't deserve it).
I'm thankful that somehow we both made it through this recession with the same jobs we started out with and making the same, or a tiny bit more, than we were before the bottom fell out of MI. I have to keep this one in mind since they have him working overtime for about three months and he's third shift, so we hardly see each other.
