crazy

A woman I used to work with in AZ is about to become a grandma again. She's 36.

Also: the daughter is expecting TWINS this time. :-|

Re: crazy

  • Grandma AGAIN?

    How old is her daughter?

  • I think she's 18? 18 with a kid and two on the way. Awesome.

  • I worked with a lot of ladies like that at the daycare. It baffled me. Though, to be fair, it baffled them why I was in college when I could be having babies.

  • I really want to post the daughter's Mother's Day portraits, but I feel awful. Picture the teen and the kid in matching Cowboys jerseys, she has very dark lipstick and painted on brows.

But were they all leaning on each other Sister Wife style?

  • Is she with the father of the first or do the twins have a different father?

    People amaze me.

  • A lady came into my therapist's office with a little girl, about 4 or 5, and went to talk to the clerk.  She looked no older than mid 40s and I would have guessed younger.  She was telling the clerk that she needed to change the girl's address on file, because she was now living with her grandmother, who was the woman's daughter.

I was doing that math for a while.

  • dear lord!

I remember a girl who went to lower school with me. She dropped out when she was 15, pregnant and got married a couple of weeks later.

Funny, I have always wondered what happened to her after that.

  • I would straight up kill my child if they made me a grandma at 36.

I think a trip to Dr Fenton would be in order.

  • I would also have to call Guiness because my child would be the youngest person to give birth.  They'd be 3 years old, assuming I get pregnant in the next year.

  • One of the best ways to insure you don't become a grandma in your 30s is not to have chidren in your teens.
    image
  • I don't even know what to say about this.  I don't even know if I'll get in a second child by the time I'm 36, so I'm free and clear on the grandchild front.

I'm not even sure I'll have one by then!

Everyone on FB is congratulating her, "Twin girls are such a blessing! Congrats, Grandma!" Oy.

  • I'm 36, my son is 17, so yeah it could happen, but it better not.  I think I'd "accidently" push his gf down a flight of stairs.

  • My husband is 35. I'm glad he's not a granddad. Ethan could have a nephew/niece younger than him.

  • I'd totally name a kid Willow. Though not in homage to BTVS, if that makes it any better.
