Do any of you have any great incentives with your credit card? Cash back? Travel points? I currently have Chase Freedom, which gives me a penny back for every dollar I spend (and sometimes more if I'm spending in a special promotional category like "gas," or "groceries"). I'm wondering if I can do better.
Re: Credit Cards
I get points back on my Discover card, but it isn't much. Somehow my mom gets loads of points back on hers...I guess I'm just not buying the right stuff!
I'm interested to see people's responses

For gas, we use the BP Visa card they have through Chase Bank. They give 5% cash back on gas purchases. We live really close to a BP so we get most of our gas there anyway. The only downside is that you have to request your "cash back" via check by going on their website and requesting it.
For all other purchases, we use our American Express "One" card. It's attached to a savings account and AMEX puts 1% of all purchases as a contribution into the savings account each month. I like this because you see the reward each month and you don't have to do anything to get it - like call or request it online. The savings account used to have a good rate, but now it's pretty low.
Because AMEX isn't accepted everywhere, we also have a credit card through Bank of America. It gives 1% on all purchases too, but it's in the form of points and you have to call to redeem them and then they just credit your balance.
I've heard so many great things about AMEX. My husband is a devoted AMEX user. But I did the math, and it looks like we're only getting a 0.5% return (half penny) per dollar spent. Maybe we have the wrong kind of AMEX?
Maybe? I know they have a TON of choices. I think if you go to their website and browse the features of the cards, you'll find one that fits. I was looking for one with cash back - not points or miles or anything like that - and that's how I found our "One" card. I've been using it since about 2006 and I still love it.
